The District School Council/Parent Involvement Committee (DSC-PIC) supports parents/guardians in engaging in their child’s education. DSC-PIC also provides opportunities for parents/guardians to have a voice that will be taken into account at the Board level. More information can be found in the Ministry of Education Regulation 612/00: School Council and Parent Involvement Committees and the Board’s BD-2007 District School Council – PIC Policy.
Committee membership includes trustees and school council chairs.
The meetings will begin at 6 p.m. (unless otherwise noted on the agenda) and are accessible virtually or at any of our three education centres (Lindsay, Muskoka, and/or Haliburton). Dates are subject to change. Please check the final, posted agenda package for confirmed details.
