Encompassing the municipalities of the City of Kawartha Lakes, Haliburton County, and the District Municipality of Muskoka, Trillium Lakelands District School Board (TLDSB) is not only dedicated to the success of each student, but is located in some of the best surroundings in Ontario.
In our elementary, secondary, and adult education programs, we focus our efforts on developing our students academically, but also socially as we work with parents/guardians and community partners to prepare future leaders and citizens of our communities. With this in mind, we continue to strive to provide safe and caring school environments, where students are given multiple opportunities to develop habits of good character and social responsibility.
With approximately 16,000 students, TLDSB has 41 elementary schools, seven secondary schools, and six adult and alternate education centres. The Board also offers a well-attended online learning program accessed worldwide through its Virtual Learning Centre.
At TLDSB, we strive to develop all members of our community by centering diverse voices and lived experiences in our learning. Visit the French as a Second Language Employment page for more information about the Board’s French Immersion programs and employment opportunities.
