Boundary and Program Reviews

Colourful map of the Board's regions

Trillium Lakelands District School Board (TLDSB) established school catchment areas within specific boundaries to help balance school enrolment and capacity, minimize transportation, and maximize walk zones.

A boundary or program review may be conducted by TLDSB to review the attendance area for a school or group of schools due to changes in student enrolment, program demands, new construction, or other factors.

Frequently asked questions

A boundary review is conducted by the Board to analyze the attendance area for a school or group of schools due to changes in student enrolment, program demands, school capacity, new construction, or other factors. These reviews are needed to help balance school enrolment and capacity, minimize transportation, and maximize walk zones.

A boundary review ensures that students continue to receive a high-quality education while balancing student enrolment, staffing, and programming.

By conducting a review now, the Board will be prepared for years ahead, creating minimal impact on students and their families.

Upon determination of a change at the Regular Meeting of the Board with trustees in June, any changes will be in effect September 2024.

Once the consultation and determination of a boundary change have been completed, current families will be notified and given instructions for any next steps, if necessary.

All new families will register within the catchment area of their home school. Home school catchments can be found here: https://www.mybustoschool.ca/Eligibility

This is under consideration. Once the consultation and determination is completed, current families will be notified.
