Trillium Lakelands District School Board (TLDSB) conducts School Climate Surveys to assist the Board and our schools in understanding how students experience school supports, social and emotional learning, as well as their feelings on a safe and inclusive environment. The results of this survey help provide further support to students and our school communities.
Guided by our 2022-2027 Strategic Plan, the climate survey is a great opportunity for student voice as it is well aligned with commitment 2.3: Encourage and actively listen to student voice regularly to ensure students are heard and valued.
As we continue to gather data on student well-being and focus on improving these learning environments that foster equity, inclusion, and belonging, TLDSB will conduct another School Climate Survey for Grade 4-12 students from May 6 to 10. This survey will be completed in class and will take 15-30 minutes to complete.
