TLDSB Grade 10 and 11 students who have a summer job can earn a co-operative education credit at the same time through the Summer Co-operative Education Program!
Pre-placement: You are required to complete 10 pre-placement hours virtually via Google Meet, where you will complete the required paperwork and learn about employment practices and standards.
Work experience: You must log 100 hours between July 2 and 25 for one credit and/or 200 hours between July 2 and August 21 for two credits. You can track your hours through log sheets, or by submitting paystubs to your teacher.
Culminating: You will complete a culminating assignment to complete your credit(s). There are several options to choose from to suit your learning style.
