Feed All Four Fund

History

Established in 2020, at a time when Trillium Lakelands District School Board (TLDSB) families were experiencing job loss, as well as food and financial insecurity, the Feed All Four Fund was initiated to provide an opportunity for TLDSB staff to support our students and their families. Initially, it was only staff who contributed to a fund, but it has now grown to receive funds from community partners. 100 percent of the donations received for the Feed All Four Fund go directly back into our school communities supporting TLDSB families.

Currently

The Feed All Four Fund is a confidential and accessible way for schools to offer resources to families who may be struggling. The school principal assesses the needs in their school community and requests assistance from the Feed All Four Fund to  purchase gift cards for essential items such as food, gas, clothing, and toiletries. It also supports students in enrolling in activities to support mental and physical wellness and assistance in purchasing medical supplies such as glasses, hearing aids or other tools to assist with learning.

In the 2023-2024 school year, over 190 families received various forms of assistance from this fund.

In June 2023, TLDSB hosted its inaugural golf tournament to support the Feed All Four Fund. This yearly golf tournament continues to fundraise for this important cause.

We know that our staff and community partners go above and beyond every single day to support students; the Feed All Four Fund is one more way we can ensure our students and families have the personal resources they need to foster optimal well-being and achievement.

Donate to the Fund

If you would like to contribute to the Feed All Four Fund, anonymous donations of any size can be submitted by:

1. E-transfer to [email protected]. No tax receipt is provided for e-transfer.
   
   
2. Donate online through the Board’s Canada Helps page. Donations of $4 and above will receive a charitable donation tax receipt.
