Bids and Tenders

Trillium Lakelands District School Board (TLDSB) is responsible for co-ordinating the acquisition of goods and services to ensure that an open and competitive purchasing process is followed.

Competitive procurement is the contractual acquisition (purchase or lease) by TLDSB for assets of any kind, whether goods or services, enabling all qualified, responsible vendors to compete in a fair and open process. We aim to ensure impartiality and transparency throughout our procurement process.

TLDSB Purchasing Services ensures all required goods and/or services are acquired in a timely manner, at the correct quantity, quality, and price. All goods and/or services must be procured in a professional way that adheres to TLDSB policies and procedures, the Broader Public Sector Procurement Directive, the Ontario Education Act, the Broader Public Sector Expenses Directive, , and all other legislated areas as they apply. TLDSB has partnered with Bids & Tenders to provide an electronic tendering service.

Summer break information

All school buildings will be closed to the public for the summer break beginning Monday, July 7, reopening on Tuesday, August 26.

Beginning the week of July 14, the TLDSB Lindsay Education Centre is open to the public Monday to Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Muskoka Education Centre is closed to the public over the break.

The first day of school for both elementary and secondary students is Wednesday, September 3. Note, Kindergarten students will have a staggered start.
