Trillium Lakelands District School Board Grade 10 and 11 students who have a summer job can earn up to two cooperative education (co-op) credits at the same time through the Summer Cooperative Education Program!
Course format
- Pre-placement: Students are required to complete 10 pre-placement hours virtually via Google Meet, where they will complete required paperwork and learn about employment practices and standards.
- Work experience: Students must log 100 hours between July 2 and 24 for one credit, and/or 200 hours between July 2 and August 21 for two credits.
- Culminating: Students will complete a culminating assignment to complete their credit(s). There are several options to choose from to suit all learning styles.
