TLDSB is seeking public input on policies – due March 27, 2026

Trillium Lakelands District School Board (TLDSB) policies are reviewed and updated on a regular schedule and approved by the Board of Trustees.

The Board is seeking public input on the renewal of the following policies:

  • Advertising Policy
  • Charitable Donations Policy
  • Community Use of Schools Policy
  • Copyright Policy
  • Disposal of Obsolete or Surplus Furniture Policy
  • Fundraising Policy
  • Health and Physical Education Exemption Process Policy
  • Ontario Student Record (OSR) Policy
  • Schools Funds Administration Policy
  • Self-Funded Leave Policy
  • Supervised Alternative Learning (SAL) Policy
  • Textbooks and Supplementary Learning Resources Policy
  • Trustee Associations Policy
  • Trustee Attendance at Conferences and Seminars Policy
  • Trustee Code of Conduct Policy

Those interested in providing feedback are asked to visit Engage with TLDSB to review the policy and provide their feedback.

These policies will be open until Friday, March 27.

Summer break information

Beginning the week of July 6, the TLDSB Lindsay Education Centre is open to the public Monday to Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Muskoka Education Centre is closed to the public over the break.

All school buildings will be closed to the public for the summer break beginning Monday, July 6, reopening on Tuesday, September 1.

The first day of school for both elementary and secondary students is Tuesday, September 8. Note, Kindergarten students will have a staggered start.
