Due to increased COVID-19 cases in the province and the continuation of our current Public Health Unit and Ministry of Education guidance, we will remain in the octomester model for Semester 2 of the 2020-2021 school year.
Octomesters follow a block schedule, having students work on one course at a time. Courses are scheduled for 225 minutes of teaching, with a staggered 40 minute lunch and break. Study hall or instructional support time will also be scheduled during the school day.
Octomester Semester 2 dates:
- Professional Development Day – February 2
- Period 1 course – February 3 – March 9
- Period 2 course – March 10 – April 20
- Period 3 course – April 21 – May 21
- Period 4 course – May 25 – June 25
