Dear parents/guardians,
I am writing to let you know that a review of the grade distribution of French Immersion students between Huntsville Public School and Riverside Public School is currently taking place.
In Trillium Lakelands District School Board (TLDSB) schools, we aim to provide our students with the best possible educational experience. This review will help us ensure we are able to continue supporting high-quality educational programming, student achievement and well-being.
Once the review is complete, you will receive the details in a communication from your child’s school. Any changes will take effect September 2024.
You are invited to learn more about this review at a community consultation meeting on Wednesday, May 3, at Huntsville High School starting at 7 p.m. in the school cafeteria. Following this meeting, options will be taken to the TLDSB Board of Trustees in June 2023 for approval. Information about the review will be posted on the Boundary Review page on the Board’s website.
