Dear parents/guardians,
I am writing to let you know that a review of the grade distribution for the French Immersion program at Central Senior School and Leslie Frost Public School is currently taking place.
In Trillium Lakelands District School Board (TLDSB) schools, we aim to provide our students with the best possible educational experience. This review will help us ensure we are meeting the needs of all learners with high-quality educational programming, student achievement and well-being.
Once the review is complete, you will receive the details in a communication from your child’s school. If the outcome results in changes, they will take effect September 2025.
You are invited to a community consultation meeting where the proposed changes will be presented on Thursday, September 26, at Lindsay Collegiate and Vocational Institute starting at 6 p.m. There will also be the opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback. Following this meeting, an option(s) will be taken to the TLDSB Board of Trustees in October 2024 for approval. Information about the review will be posted on the Boundary and Program Review page on the Board’s website.
