Leslie Frost Public School jumps for heart disease and stroke

On April 28 and May 1, Leslie Frost Public School participated in the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada’s Jump Rope for Heart initiative.

Over the two days, students participated in fun-filled activities, including heart jump, skipping solo, heart run, long rope jump, and snake jump. The school’s Grade 4 class also created informative posters about the negative results of smoking.

Students brought in toonies to take part in the activities and also fundraised online. In total, the school raised $800, which will be donated to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada. Visit the Jump Rope for Heart webpage for more information.

Well done, Lions!
