On May 15, local businesses and community partners were invited to I.E. Weldon Secondary School (IEWSS) for the second annual Reverse Job Fair.
The event gave Grade 10 to 12 students the unique opportunity to showcase their skills, experiences, and post-secondary goals through their portfolios while employers travelled around the displays, providing mentorship to students on achieving future career opportunities including co-op placements, volunteer experiences, or even employment. Students were from various sectors, including agriculture, business, community care, construction, engineering, health care, hospitality, manufacturing, robotics, and transportation.
