Student musical performance
The Grade 9 and 10 jazz band from Bracebridge and Muskoka Lakes Secondary School, led by music teacher, Leanne Edwards, performed the Canadian national anthem, as well as two musical pieces for the trustees, senior administration, and guests to enjoy.
Elections
The annual election took place for the TLDSB chair and vice-chair of the Board. Trustee, Colleen Wilcox, was elected as chair of the Board for 2024, and Trustee, Esther Childs, was elected vice-chair of the Board.

Hahn presented trustees with the 2022-2023 Board Improvement and Equity Plan (BIEP) Director’s Annual Report. He shared highlights and noted the focus of the report, which is directly linked to the goals of the TLDSB 2022-2027 Strategic Plan. The report can be found on the Board’s Annual Reports page.
