This spring, Trillium Lakelands District School Board will host its third annual silent auction and golf tournament fundraiser to support the TLDSB Feed All Four Fund. This fund provides direct support to students and families in our communities who may be struggling with food insecurity or need support with other essential items such as clothing, hygiene items, prescription glasses or hearing aids.

The Feed All Four Fund provides direct support to students and families in our communities who may be struggling. Funds are accessed through the school Principal and the process is fast and confidential, allowing families access to what they need, when they need it the most. Since the funds inception in December 2020, we have responded to over 600 requests for support in various forms such as:

• Grocery gift cards (assistance with food insecurity is the most frequent request);
• Gift cards for clothing, hygiene or other essential needs;
• Support for students to enrol in an activity to support mental and physical wellness;
• Assistance with the purchase of glasses, hearing aids or other tools to assist with learning.

The Feed All Four Fund is made possible because of fundraisers such as this one and the generosity of donations from staff and community partners. We continue to have an overwhelming number of families requiring support, with new requests coming in every week.
