BMLSS hosts annual Winterfest

On March 11, Bracebridge and Muskoka Lakes Secondary School (BMLSS) hosted Winterfest for students to enjoy before the March Break.

This annual event, which has been on hold for the past couple of years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, was hosted by the Laker’s Leadership Council. Throughout the day, students participated in a variety of student-led winter-themed activities, including ball hockey, tobogganing, snow bowling, schkis, snow volleyball, gym games, and even watched a movie.

BMLSS hospitality classes prepared a variety of food items, such as pizza, that were available for students to purchase. Students were also able to enjoy cotton candy, a donut eating contest, and free hot chocolate!
