Director’s recognition award
Extraordinary contributions to Trillium Lakelands District School Board (TLDSB) by staff, students, school volunteers, or community members are recognized at each Public Meeting of the Board by the director of education, Wes Hahn. The following individual was nominated for their outstanding commitment and dedication to TLDSB.
TLDSB administrative solutions manager, Erin Rowsell, navigates an environment defined by ongoing change and immense complexity. Skillfully managing the core of TLDSB’s data infrastructure, Rowsell ensures stability and integrity while adapting to a continuous stream of new reporting requirements from the Ministry of Education. She has been a reliable champion of innovation, expertly integrating the Board’s student information system with a multitude of third-party services.
Rowsell’s influence and leadership, however, extend far beyond TLDSB’s boundaries, establishing her as a respected authority at the provincial level. As a dedicated mentor, she generously shares her expertise, supporting colleagues in numerous other school boards and strengthening the entire provincial education system. In TLDSB, Rowsell also oversees the creation and delivery of vital training and support materials for a growing number of software applications that serve both the education and business functions of the Board. Rowsell has made an indelible impact on our organization and the broader educational community, making her exceptionally deserving of this recognition.
