Archie Stouffer Elementary School hosts first ever Spring Art Festival

On May 25, Archie Stouffer Elementary School held their first ever Spring Arts Festival to celebrate the arts and talents of students.

Throughout the evening, the whole school community enjoyed various artistic performances, including spoken word poetry, piano playing, solo and choir vocal entertainment, and ukulele numbers. The foyer was also converted into an art gallery, in which various classes showcased their work, including 3D art installations, prints, and other mediums of art.

“It felt amazing to do a dance that I choreographed to my favourite song in front of all those people,” said Grade 4 student, Saphira Pentney.

“It felt good, and I felt happy to play piano,” said Grade 2 student, Gavin Hullah. “I was very nervous.”
