Trillium Lakelands District School Board students who have a summer job can earn a cooperative education credit at the same time through the Summer Cooperative Education Program!
From July 4 to 28, students will complete a pre-placement, work experience, and culminating assignment to earn up to two credits.
Course format
Pre-placement: You are required to complete 10 pre-placement hours virtually via Google Meet, where you will complete required paperwork and learn about employment practices and standards.
Work experience: You must log 100 hours for one credit and/or 210 hours for two credits. You can track your hours through log sheets, or by submitting paystubs to your teacher. Regular journals and other assignments will also be part of the program.
Culminating: You will complete a culminating assignment to complete your credit(s). There are several options to choose from to suit your learning style.
